Job Summary
This role involves overseeing a busy community pool with various aquatic programs and services, including classes for community members, credit students, rental opportunities, lap swim, and private swim lessons. The position requires a strong focus on managing pool equipment and maintenance.
This is a part-time position with teaching and coordination hours totaling up to 29 hours per week. The pool operates over 70 hours weekly, and this role is one of three overseeing pool supervision. Supervision hours will be shared among staff, with evenings and weekends required. Classes are offered in Fall, Winter, and Spring/Summer, with pool shutdowns in between. During shutdowns, staff may work on planning and scheduling, but not necessarily the full 29 hours. Hours are preset each semester.
Job Duties

Required Qualifications
Must have a current lifeguard certification (Red Cross preferred).
Must obtain an LGI Certification within the first year of employment.
Must have experience working in a busy pool setting.
