The Greenbush YMCA is seeking a dedicated Aquatics Coordinator to oversee swim lesson scheduling, registrations, and instructor supervision at our Greenbush, NY location. This full-time role emphasizes organized record-keeping, coaching, and direct instruction to swimmers of all ages.

The candidate should have 2+ years as a swim instructor and lifeguard, 1 year in a supervisory role, and current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as a swim instructor and lifeguard.
• Minimum one year of supervisory experience.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
• Current aquatic certifications (YMCA or American Red Cross).
• Basic computer skills and strong organizational/communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedule swim lessons and manage registrations.
• Oversee instructors and supervise private lessons.
• Coordinate swim team operations and communications.
• Provide coaching and direct instruction to participants.
