Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware is seeking a lifeguard to ensure the safety of patrons at our Milford aquatics facility. You will monitor the pool, enforce safety rules, and respond to emergencies under the supervision of the Aquatics Director.
Applicants should have First Aid/CPR/AED certification (Ellis & Associates Lifeguard preferred) and the ability to swim 100 yards. Part-time shifts include mornings and evenings; benefits are offered for eligible staff.

Each and everyday girls and boys are left to find their own recreation and companionship. An increasing number of kids are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know they have a place in their community where they can go. Clubs provide a safe haven for youth, allow them to meet with friends and be a part of positive peer groups. Club programs teach life skills, conflict resolution and focus on the development of character. Clubs also provide members with positive role models and a nurturing environment that help improve decision‑making skills.
Under the supervision of the Aquatics Director, lifeguards are responsible for ensuring the safety of the patrons and members at their assigned club/aquatics facility by preventing and responding to emergencies.
- Multiple shifts are available Monday- Friday between 6:15 a.m. and 8:15 p.m., and Saturdays between 7:45 a.m. and 2:15 p.m.
Part-time employees who meet the following criteria are eligible for benefits per Affordable Care Act (ACA) Guidelines:
1 (one) year of service averaging 30 hours per week.
1 (one) year of service averaging 25 hours per week.
