Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando is seeking a Maintenance Technician for water park life support systems. You will perform filter, pump, valve, and piping maintenance, test water chemistry, and ensure all equipment runs safely and efficiently.

You will document activities, follow safety guidelines, and work flexible shifts including opening and closing hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for training and certification such as CPR and operator licenses.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator or Aquatic Facility Operator certification.
• At least 1 year operational experience in aquatic life support facility or other water treatment facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform filter, pump, valve, and piping maintenance and repairs.
• Recognize normal system operations, required action, and notification; participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Perform water chemistry testing and interpret results as they pertain to all systems.
• Maintain record of activities performed during shift.
• Comply with all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
