Job summary

Something Fishy, Inc. is seeking a Service Aquarist to install and maintain aquarium exhibits for commercial and residential clients in Rhode Island. You will manage health, function, and aesthetics of LSS systems and collaborate with teams to ensure outstanding client outcomes.

Core duties include driving to client sites, performing maintenance, handling installations, and participating in emergency calls on a rotating schedule. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Experience with aquariums preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Driving company vehicle to client locations.
• Cleaning of aquarium exhibits.
• General aquatic husbandry.
• Life support system (LSS) maintenance.
• Installation of LSS equipment/PVC plumbing.
• Customer relations.
• Being on a rotating emergency call schedule.
• Assisting with in-house husbandry as needed.
