Job summary

Waikīkī Aquarium is seeking staff to assist during renovations, focusing on daily feeding routines and care for gallery feeds, enrichment feeds, and observation feeds. You will monitor animal health, behavior and life support systems, and perform cleaning and maintenance of exhibits and life support systems.

Training may include basic plumbing and life support system operation; help with collection acclimation as needed, while maintaining clean, presentable public tanks.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Current student or recent graduate (within 1 year).
• Physical fitness to clean tanks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to provide TB clearance, background check, and complete online trainings.

• Part time and full time positions available
• Duration: 6 months

Qualifications
