The City of Morgan Hill is seeking an Aqua Fitness Instructor for a part-time, non-benefited, year-round role. The position provides in-water workouts for diverse participants and requires safety supervision and adaptable teaching methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Aqua Fitness Instructor experience desirable.
• Knowledge of basic exercise science applicable to Aqua Fitness.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute well-structured water workouts that are safe and engaging.
• Adapt activities to age and ability of participants and supervise all participants.
• Perform rescues, administer first aid, CPR, and summon supervision/emergency personnel as needed.
• Submit Accident/Incident Reports within 24 hours of any incident.
