Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in group class instruction.
• CPR/AED certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Group exercise instructor certification preferred; specialty certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes as scheduled with modifications for fitness levels.
• Instruct within guidelines of certifications and ensure safety.
• Maintain certifications and complete continuing education.
• Arrive early for setup, start and end classes on time, clean up after.
• Be reliable and arrange substitutes when needed.
• Provide a fun, engaging experience for participants.
• Be flexible with center hours and work schedules.
• Meet safety requirements and emergency procedures knowledge.
• Communicate confidently with EMS when needed.
• Demonstrate professional demeanor and customer service.
