Job summary

Truckee Donner Recreation & Park District is seeking an Aqua Fitness Instructor at the Truckee Community Swimming Pool. You will lead classes such as Aqua Fit and Golden Fish and contribute to Aquatics program activities within the department.

Ideal candidates have fitness instructor experience, First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety training, and must complete DOJ fingerprinting before starting. Work 2–4 days per week, 1–2 hours per day, with pay $23.70–$29.99 per hour plus district perks.

Brief Summary:

TDRPD has an exciting opportunity to join its Aquatics Department. We are hiring for Aqua Fitness Instructor at the Truckee Community Swimming Pool! Be a part of a great team, stay fit at work and teach various fitness classes at the pool such as Aqua Fit, Golden Fish, Etc. Ideal candidates will have Fitness Instructor Experience and First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety training.

Hours Available:

2-4 days per week and 1-2 hours per day. Opportunity to grow and teach more classes if successful.

Pay:

$23.70 - $29.99 per hour, depending on experience, plus District perks valued at $500 per month for a family of 4 (they include membership passes to the fitness center, pool, and beach for employees and their entire family).
