The Aqua Fitness Instructor is responsible for planning and leading safe, engaging water-based fitness classes for members of varying ages and abilities. Day-to-day duties include designing class formats, demonstrating exercises in the pool, monitoring participant safety, and adapting workouts to different fitness levels. The instructor will provide clear instruction, motivating coaching, and excellent member service before, during, and after classes, including answering questions and offering basic fitness guidance related to aquatic exercise. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Almaden Valley Athletic Club in San Jose, CA, and may include early morning, evening, and weekend shifts as needed.
