Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic, upbeat and motivated Aqua Fitness Instructor to lead water-based fitness classes. The ideal candidate will create a fun, positive workout experience for members, helping them improve their strength, endurance, and overall fitness in a safe and supportive environment. If you love motivating others and have a knack for creating a positive atmosphere, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
Lead safe, high-energy, and effective Aqua Fitness classes for participants of various fitness levels.
Demonstrate water exercise techniques, explain proper form and modifications, and address participant questions or concerns.
Modify workouts as needed to accommodate individuals’ abilities and goals.
Maintain a positive, motivating, and fun atmosphere during all classes.
Provide excellent customer service and promote a supportive environment.
Collaborate with team members to create a variety of workout routines.
Adhere by pool and company policies to ensure the equipment and area is kept clean and safe.
Qualifications:
Previous experience teaching Aqua Fitness or group fitness classes is a plus.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
Ability to create and maintain an upbeat, high-energy atmosphere.
Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
