Acquisition Program Analyst, SME (NC3 Enterprise Modernization)

Location: Pentagon - onsite 5 days per week
Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility

Nationwide IT Services is currently seeking an Acquisition Program Analyst, SME for our STAQSS II contract.

The STAQSS II contract supports the Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition (SAF/AQ). The objective is to provide specialized expertise to complement the organization's resources for effective mission accomplishment, innovation, and technical competence. The contractor shall support acquisition and sustainment efforts to support Government organizations.

This position is on-site at the Pentagon 5 days a week

AQP, Global Power Programs Directorate, manages a $10B portfolio including legacy fighters (F-15, F-16, A-10), fifth-generation aircraft (F-22, F-35), AF munitions, and nuclear triad investments.

The Acquisition Program Analyst, SME supports Headquarters actions regarding the NC3 enterprise, including transmitters, receivers, terminals, networks, and C3 platforms.

Responsibilities:
  • Support budget preparation, oversight, and program execution activities.
  • Maintain and analyze planning, scheduling, and management data.
  • Analyze requirements, strategies, documentation, and program phases; provide recommendations.
  • Assess programs approaching milestones and contractor issues.
  • Research trends, identify issues, and suggest solutions.
  • Advise on funding, goals, objectives, and schedules.
  • Track compliance and identify program issues and tradeoffs.
  • Review policies and assess impact of national and DoD activities.
  • Maintain documentation, develop briefings, and training materials.
  • Provide quick analyses of critical issues for various stakeholders.
  • Prepare PPBE documentation and support review processes.
  • Handle legislative and information requests.
  • Monitor ongoing studies and support program-specific efforts.
  • Assist in preparing for legislative hearings, briefings, and visits.
  • Perform other related duties as coordinated with the COR.
Qualifications:
  • Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering
  • 10 years of DoD acquisitions experience in SPo or HQ
  • At least 5 years supporting complex system architectures, enterprise cybersecurity, and system-of-systems integration
  • Experience with nuclear systems is highly desired

Work experience substitutions include 22 years of relevant experience for an MA/MS, or 18 years plus a BA/BS for an MA/MS.

Proficient skills in MS Office Suite, Adobe, and public speaking are required.
