Job summary

TotalEnergies is seeking an APU Manager to oversee production in Surface Preparation, Automation, and Assembly. This role ensures safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets while fostering continuous improvement and employee development.

You will lead high-volume painting and surface preparation processes, apply Lean and automation, manage scheduling and resources, and drive KPI improvements. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership are required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Minimum 5 years progressive manufacturing experience in high-volume production.
• Minimum 3 years leadership experience managing production teams.
• Experience in automotive, industrial, or assembly manufacturing environments preferred.
• Proven experience driving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and Productivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Surface Preparation, Automation, and Assembly areas to achieve production objectives.
• Monitor, analyze, and improve KPIs related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Productivity, Scrap, and Efficiency.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and data-driven decision making.
• Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, Human Resources, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Oversee production scheduling, staffing, workforce planning, and resource allocation.
• Manage labor, material, and operational costs while maintaining profitability and efficiency.
• Support new equipment, technologies, automation systems, and manufacturing processes.
