Summary

What your day would be like :

You'll be hands-on in designing and enhancing critical IT and OT infrastructure that supports field operations across the organization. Each day, you'll develop new system components, improve existing designs, and collaborate closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure reliable, scalable, and efficient communication networks and technologies.

You are responsible for :

  • Designing new components or portions of IT and OT systems based on project requirements.
  • Modifying and improving existing designs to enhance system performance and support evolving operational needs.
  • Collaborating with field service and engineering teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and field-ready.
  • Supporting documentation, drawings, and specifications needed for construction and field deployment.
  • Identifying opportunities to innovate and streamline communication infrastructure designs.

  • Improved or redesigned existing systems to boost efficiency or reliability.

  • Associates Degree and / or Technical Degree
  • AND two (2) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
  • Requires basic knowledge of related IT systems and procedures
  • Associates Degree and / or Technical Degree
  • AND four (4) years of prior relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience
  • Requires considerable knowledge of related IT systems and procedures.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency with AutoCad software and Meridian Document Repository
  • Ability to explain complex technical processes simply
  • Skills in coordinating workflow with customer service and stakeholder collaboration
  • Understanding of Drafting Principles, standards, and symbols
  • Attention to detail and ability to create accurate drawings
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and construction processes
  • Relevant industry experience preferred

Major Accountabilities

Develop and modify design drawings, utilize CAD tools, gather information, and coordinate with engineering teams. Ensure accuracy, manage files, participate in meetings, create 2D models, and ensure compliance with standards.

Home Based
