Qualifications

• APRN licensure with CT APRN and RN licenses; DEA number.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in adult or child mental health.
• CT CSP license required; CT CSP license and DEA registration as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes medications under the direction and supervision of the agency MD.
• Direct Treatment Services.
• Provides treatment services per payor and clinical standards.
• Direct clinical services including psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and medication management.
• Education and resources for overdose prevention when relevant.
• Orders and reviews labs, EKGs, and outside medical records as appropriate.
• Administer medications as needed per policy.
• Prioritize same-day or walk-in psychiatric evaluations or addiction medicine consults.
• Develops programs and psycho-educational interventions for clients.
