Job summary

The Florida Department of Health in Lake County seeks an OPS Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive primary and preventive care including family planning, HIV, pediatrics, and gynecology under protocols and medical direction.

Requires Florida APRN license and willingness to work 16–24 hours weekly, including Fridays, with travel to Umatilla, Leesburg, Clermont as needed. This is a temporary posting with emergency duty responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active APRN license in Florida.
• Willing to work before/during/after hours for emergencies.
• 16–24 hours per week, including Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care under standing orders and medical direction.
• Deliver gynecologic, family planning, STD, pediatrics, and HIV services and develop treatment plans.
• Order/interpret lab tests and adjust therapies as needed.
