Summary of Job Duties:

The Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant will assist surgeon with clinic, organizing visits and performing clinic procedures, care coordination of patients, work as an independent care provider within the clinic. answer in-basket, MyChart and patient questions and work in collaboration with the physician to facilitate patients assigned with MD. The APRN/PA will be responsible for managing care of outpatients post-operatively, answering telephone inquiries and filling prescriptions. The APRN/PA must have a high level of expertise to perform assessments/diagnosis/treatment of actual/potential problems of patients.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

APRN:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing Plus Three (3) years of nursing experience

• Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas ; APRN License

• Acute Care Certification

PA:

• Physician Assistant Studies Plus Three (3) years of experience

• PA Licensure
