Summary of Job Duties:

The Advanced Practice Nurse/Physician Assistant will assist the Interventional Radiologist with clinic visits, procedures, care coordination, and work independently within the clinic. Responsibilities include answering patient questions via in-basket and MyChart, managing perioperative patient care, and collaborating with physicians. The role requires high expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

APRN:

  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Acute Care Certification
  • Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas
  • APRN License

PA:

  • Master's Education
  • PA Licensure

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Obtain health histories, perform examinations, identify risks, and update health status
  • Implement treatment plans, order tests, prescribe medications, and manage health issues
  • Develop care plans including diagnostic and pharmacologic interventions
  • Promote health through preventive activities and participate in clinical pathways
  • Participate in team conferences and consult with other health professionals
  • Follow up with patients via calls, rounds, and lab results
  • Perform other duties as assigned
