Qualifications

• Kansas NP license validity if working in Kansas.
• Oklahoma NP license with prescriptive authority if in OK.
• RN license in state of residence or multistate license.
• Graduate of accredited Advanced Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current ANCC or AANP board certification.
• DOT certification within 30 days if required.
• ACLS as required for certain providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage medical plan of care with physicians.
• Provide outpatient primary and walk-in care with health examinations.
• Manage acute and chronic illness with care plans.
• Refer to internal or external resources as needed.
• Prescribe medications where indicated.
• Provide clinical consultation to CHC/SEK staff.
• Document medical records accurately per policy.
• Follow clinic protocols and HIPAA guidelines.
• Participate in after-hours on-call and quality improvement.
