Responsibilities

The Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine seeks an APRN or PA to increase patient access and provide coordination and continuity of care for patients in the General/Gastrointestinal Surgery division.

Qualifications

• Minimum two (2) years of experience in the care of surgical patients
• Valid State Florida Medical License
• Scenario A: Physician Associate
  • Graduate of an institution approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC‑PA)
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Scenario B: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
  • Graduate of an institution approved by the Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification (ABSNC)
