Minimum Qualification:
Master’s Degree
Two (2) years nursing experience
Licensed Registered Nurse in Arkansas; APRN/CPN License, or PA with State Medical Board.
Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment.
Must be able to operate all typical nursing equipment essential to performing the job (i.e., scales, procedure equipment, needles, blood pressure equipment, and EKG machines).
Must have normal communication sensory requirement.
Ability to comply with CDC Universal Precautions when indicated.
Preferred Qualification:
Prescriptive authority and DEA license must be obtained after hire.

Responsibilities:
Performs thorough physical examinations, including psychological evaluations, tailored to oncology patients' needs.
Formulates differential diagnoses and create individualized treatment strategies for cancer patients.
Executes procedures such as radiation treatment simulations, target volume contouring, and management of radiation-induced side effects.
Initiates and manage pharmacological treatments, including chemotherapy and pain management protocols.
Collaborates with a team of specialists to ensure timely and appropriate patient care across various settings.
Offers counseling on disease processes, treatment options, and post-treatment care to patients and their families.
Acts as an interdisciplinary consultant and patient advocate, providing expertise and support to the healthcare team.
Oversees the development and management of radiation treatment plans, monitor patient responses, and adjust interventions as necessary.
Maintains adherence to radiation safety protocols and institutional guidelines during patient care.
Participates in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in oncology care and maintain relevant certifications.
May perform other duties assigned.
