Job summary

University of Central Arkansas is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse for the Student Health Center. This 10-month position provides comprehensive clinical services to students, faculty, and staff under approved protocols, with emphasis on preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and continuity of care.

The role collaborates with physicians and other health professionals, maintaining detailed medical records and contributing to education and outreach.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing with prescription privileges in Arkansas
• Master of Science in Nursing or Doctorate in Nursing is required

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services and treatment for students, faculty, and staff as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse
• Work within approved protocols for the Student Health Center and maintain accurate medical records
• Assess health status, develop and evaluate plans of care, and coordinate referrals as needed
• Collaborate with other disciplines and utilize university and community resources to promote health and safety
