Paycom - ATS in Miami, FL is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to manage health problems and coordinate care for clinic patients under physician supervision.

The role requires NP program completion, ARNP licensure, and Family Medicine certification is preferred. BLS/ACLS is preferred, and strong computer skills with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are expected.

Formación

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school and NP program.
  • Current ARNP licensure and Family Medicine certification preferred.
  • Current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
  • Strong computer skills with Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform age-appropriate history and physicals for clinic patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.
  • Implement interventions to maintain physiologic stability.
  • Monitor effectiveness of interventions and adjust as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and refer when appropriate.
  • Provide education and engage patients and families in care decisions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:The Nurse Practitioner is a licensed independent practitioner who is responsible for managing health problems and coordinating health care for clinic patients in accordance with State and Federal rules and regulations and the nursing standards of care (assessment of health status, diagnosis, development of plan of care and treatment, implementation of treatment plan, and evaluation of patient status).
