ShopRite of East Haven seeks an Appy/Deli Clerk to assist the manager in daily department operations and maintain a neat, appealing display. You will perform tasks efficiently and safely under company policy to deliver a great customer experience.

The job requires reading, basic math, and ability to operate slicer and other equipment; lifting up to 50 lbs and working in varied temperatures is expected. Join a team focused on safety, friendliness, and presentation.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English proficiently.
• Must be able to perform basic math accurately.
• Ability to operate department equipment listed above.
• Regularly lift up to 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate slicing and related equipment to prepare Appy/Deli products.
• Replenish and prepare Appy/Deli products for sale.
• Follow procedures for receiving, dating, storing, pricing, and restocking.
• Keep displays stocked and department clean and safe.
• Interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.
