Role Overview

The Applications Development Technology Senior Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology Team. The role's primary objective is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities

1. Lead integration of functions to meet goals, deploy new products, and enhance processes.
2. Analyze complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards to define and develop solutions to high-level problems.
3. Provide expertise in applications programming, planning assignments involving large budgets and cross-functional projects.
4. Develop application methodologies and standards for analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
5. Utilize advanced knowledge of main system flows and multiple areas to achieve technology goals.
6. Consult with end users to identify system specifications and incorporate them into overall system design.
7. Allocate work and act as an advisor/coach to developers, analysts, and new team members.
8. Influence and negotiate with senior leaders and communicate with external parties.
9. Assess risk when making business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and managing control issues transparently.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of application development and leadership experience in financial services.
• Deep understanding of ETD clearing workflows, including trade lifecycle management, brokerage, cash, and collateral workflows.
• Experience integrating clearing systems with books and records platforms for seamless data flow.
• Expertise in cloud-native development principles, designing resilient, scalable, and observable systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, vendors, and clearinghouse reps.
• Experience with post-trade processing systems and technologies.
• Knowledge of client core business functions.
• Leadership, project management, and development skills.
• Relationship-building and consensus skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
