Job Description

The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a hands-on lead for Tableau BI tools, with experience in building catalogs, dashboards, and optimizing Tableau reports.
  • Have hands-on experience with Python, with a focus on automation and process improvement.
  • Build complex SQL queries and optimize performance across databases such as Oracle, Sybase, MongoDB, and Neo4j.
  • Partner with management teams to ensure system integration, deploy new products, and implement process improvements.
  • Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of business and system processes, adhering to industry standards.
  • Provide expertise in application programming, ensuring designs align with architecture blueprints.
  • Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation.
  • Understand business architecture and infrastructure to meet organizational goals.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to identify issues and develop innovative solutions.
  • Mentor mid-level developers and analysts, managing workload distribution.
  • Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies, while safeguarding assets and reputation.

Qualifications:

  • 12-15 years of experience in application development or systems analysis.
  • Extensive experience in system analysis and software programming.
  • Proven success in managing and implementing projects.
  • Subject Matter Expert in at least one application development area.
  • Ability to adapt priorities quickly based on circumstances.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
