Apprenticeship Program - Injection Molding Technician Track 1

Are you mechanically inclined and ready to start a rewarding manufacturing career? HARTING aims to develop the skills of students in the Elgin community interested in manufacturing. As an apprentice, you will gain skills, knowledge, and hands-on experience for long-term success.

We are seeking individuals interested in becoming Injection Molding Technicians. Our team uses best-in-class injection molding technology and processes, and we are excited to teach you.

What is an Apprenticeship?

• Apprenticeships combine paid on-the-job training with classroom instruction to prepare you for a highly skilled career, such as a Robotics or Injection Molding Technician.
• In partnership with the ICATT Apprenticeship program, HARTING supports skill development for students interested in manufacturing.
• Through Elgin Community College, you will attend courses to learn theoretical concepts and apply them on the job with HARTING.

Program Details

Joining HARTING's Apprenticeship Program makes you an employee. The program lasts 3 years, including 2 days in school and 3 days working with the company each week. Upon successful completion, you are eligible for a 2-year employment guarantee.
