The role
As an Apprenticeship Coach - Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will play a vital role in the security of the nation whilst supporting the equipment used by the British Army. This includes the fleet management of over 50,000 vehicles, ranging from quad bikes and generators to main battle tanks and weapons from pistols to cannons.
Day-to-day, you’ll visit vehicle mechanic learners within their workplace using your vocational experience and knowledge to deliver learning, coach, assess and support them to achieve their apprenticeship.
This role is full time working 37 hours per week, offered on a 12-Month Fixed-Term contract and is fully remote. There is a requirement to travel to our sites in Tidworth, Lyneham, Warminster, Colerne, Larkhill, Bulford and Wiltshire.
Agile working may be available to employees in some instances, applying the principles of fairness and consistency whilst ensuring that the overriding business needs can be appropriately met. The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
