What You’ll Do

• Assisting Senior Technicians: Work alongside experienced technicians to learn and perform installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on various water treatment equipment such as water softeners, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, and filtration systems.
• Routine Maintenance and Service: Perform basic service tasks, including changing filters on RO systems and delivering salt to customer homes or businesses.
• Water Quality Testing: Learn to collect and test water samples using test equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Learn the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment used in the trade, including hand tools, power tools, and potentially basic plumbing tools for soldering or pipe fitting.
• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately complete required paperwork, service notes, and logs to record operational data and maintenance activities.
• Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with customers, address their needs, and represent the company positively during service calls.
• Safety and Compliance: Learn and strictly follow all proper safety procedures and protocols, including the handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Vehicle and Workspace Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle, tools, and work areas.

• A basic understanding of mechanical work, hand tools and work areas
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50‑100 pounds), stand, walk, bend and work in various weather conditions.
• Detail oriented approach to ensure accuracy in testing and recording data
• Problem solving ability
• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Nice to Have

• Experience with water treatment systems
• Plumbing or other mechanical trade training or experience
