Responsibilities

  • Assist skilled workers with construction tasks including measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials.
  • Prepare and clean job sites, ensuring safe and organized work areas.
  • Load, unload, and distribute tools, equipment, and building materials.
  • Learn to safely operate basic tools, machinery, and equipment under supervision.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors, managed technicians, and foremen to complete assigned tasks.
  • Observe and practice safety protocols, reporting hazards or unsafe practices immediately.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and mentorship opportunities as provided.
  • Support project efficiency by maintaining timeliness, reliability, and attention to detail.
  • Assist with site documentation, including recording measurements, material usage, and daily work reports.
  • Develop knowledge of blueprints, construction methods, and industry standards over time.

About the role

Provide hands-on support to skilled tradespeople and project teams in various aspects of construction work. This role is designed to build knowledge, skills, and experience through on-the-job training and mentorship. The apprentice assists with tasks such as site preparation, material handling, and basic construction activities, while developing the technical and safety competencies required for advancement in the trade.

The pay range for this role is:
17 - 22 USD per hour(US)
