Overview

Job Summary

Centerline is hiring Apprentice Telecom Linemen who have attended lineman school and are interested in career growth within our company. We promote from within and are actively interviewing for multiple positions. This role is based out of Nashua, NH.

What Will You Do

• Read maps (design), assist with wheel and figure 8 fiber
• Climb poles successfully and be productive
• Build strand, lash cable and fiber, handle basic pole transfers
• Assemble stock such as snow shoes and bands
• Load a lasher
• Handle crew paperwork, including daily production and documentation
• Use all tools and stock appropriately
• Stock truck with necessary materials for the day
• Check oil and perform VIR before each shift
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the truck
• Assist in the training and advancement of team members below your level
• Prioritize safety for yourself and others on site

What You Will Need

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

Ability to sit, stand, climb, kneel, bend, lift, crawl, squat, reach, and use hands and feet in aerial and underground work. Operate vehicles and bucket trucks. Exposure to heat, cold, dust, wet conditions, vibration, and loud noise. Ability to sit for extended periods, communicate effectively, monitor with vision, and use basic office equipment.
