Job summary

Wolter, Inc. in De Pere, WI is hiring an Apprentice Technician to join their De Pere location. The four-phase apprentice program develops skills to inspect, diagnose and repair material handling equipment while working with Factory Certified Instructors and experienced technicians.

You will receive a tablet and uniforms, access to E-Learning, and paid opportunities to grow your expertise as you progress through phases, with potential increases at each phase completion.

Qualifications

• Must complete training courses required by Wolter.
• Effective written and verbal communication is essential.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Complete all technical schooling provided by Wolter: Classroom, E-Learning, On-the-job.
• Assist technicians with service jobs as assigned.
• Develop skills to check-in and check-out our rental equipment.
• Develop skills to properly set up new equipment sold to customers.
• Develop skills to prepare stock used equipment for resale per instructions.
• Work with parts department for parts needed to complete repairs.
• Document all repairs and assist with quotes for customers.
• Communicate with the Shop Foreman/Lead on any service issues.
