Job summary

Casto Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Technician - HVAC Commercial in Morgantown, WV. You will participate in comprehensive trainings, learn field concepts, and assist with service reports and customer interactions.

The role requires a high school diploma (HVAC vocational training preferred). Valid driver's license with a clean record is required. Local travel to Clarksburg and Beckley areas is possible as part of this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• HVAC vocational training is preferred.
• Must have knowledge of HVAC concepts and practices.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook is expected.

Responsibilities

• Be on time and participate in all trainings.
• Maintain professional communication with customers.
• Complete service reports, timesheets, and logs daily.
• Keep vehicle clean and inventory records accurate.
• Assist team members and continue HVAC education.

The locations we are hiring in: Clarksburg, Morgantown, Wheeling, and Beckley WV.

We Expect From You

• Be on time.
• Participate in every type of training.
• High level of professionalism.
• Computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Ability to speak professionally to customers.
• Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in HVAC.
• Must complete Service reports, time sheets, log sheets, and any reports filled out electronically and sent by end of each day.
• Company vehicle is to be kept neat and clean.
• Vehicle inventory is to be kept orderly; accurate record-keeping used when charging out parts and materials.
• Maintenance on vehicle is maintained in accordance with owner's manual.
• Assist other team members when called upon.
• Continue HVAC education with an eye on the future.

Education And Experience

Must have a high school diploma

Vocational school in HVAC (preferred)

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES

Valid driver's license and good driving record are required.
