Job summary

Casto Technical Services in Huntington, WV is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician. You will travel to customer sites, use a company van, and perform service, PM inspections, and repairs with emphasis on safety and documentation.

Requirements include a HVAC certificate or equivalent experience, EPA certification, a valid driver's license, and strong communication skills. Opportunity includes benefits and potential on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Technical school with HVAC certificate and 3 years related experience, or 5 years related experience or equivalent.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.

• Knowledge of common HVAC concepts, practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

Experienced HVAC Service Technician - Commercial

Huntington, WV 25701

We are looking for an experienced commercial HVAC Service Technician in the Wheeling, WV area! We offer our technicians the convenience of dispatching from their homes with an assigned company van. A valid driver's license is required.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Safety - Practice excellent safety procedures and hold fellow associates accountable for the same.
• Plans, manages, and schedules time effectively, working with assigned coordinator.
• Professionally and effectively completes each job, PM inspection, or day’s work. Reports status to customer and communicates job and contract progress to customers daily or regularly.
• Manages jobs and contract work to meet or beat job completion dates and estimated costs.
• Submits leads for repairs, contract adds, contracting projects, etc.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow-up on emergency service calls.
• Follow-up on customer e-mail, fax, and voice mail.
• Follow-up on all service calls.
• Creating customer quotes.
• Flexibility for On-Call rotation that may require overtime or weekend work.

Required Education And/or Experience

• Technical school with a certificate in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning and 3 years related experience; or 5 years related experience or equivalent of education and experience.
• Computer skills, up to an inclusive of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Certifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• EPA Certification.

Preferred Licenses: HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Electrical, Plumbers, or Gas Installer.
