Audi West Houston, part of Sonic Automotive, is hiring an Apprentice Technician to support the service team with minor repairs, routine maintenance, and hands-on learning under a Master Technician mentor. This position builds foundational skills for a future flat-rate technician role, with OEM training provided.

You will work full-time, gain experience across diagnostic and preventive tasks, and participate in a structured apprenticeship that advances with tenure.

Formación

• Completion of an automotive technology program preferred.
• Ability to work full-time and maintain reliable attendance.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repair.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and dealership guidelines.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including background check, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsabilidades

• Work alongside a Master Technician mentor to learn dealership procedures and technical skills
• Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs as outlined on repair orders
• Assist with vehicle inspections to identify any additional service needs
• Learn to diagnose causes of malfunctions and complete repairs under supervision
• Complete required OEM online training as part of the apprentice curriculum
• Request guidance as needed and maintain an active learning mindset

Job Description
