Woody Buick GMC is seeking Apprentice and Skilled Technicians

We are looking for individuals eager to begin a career as an automotive technician, offering both full-time and part-time positions in a Local 701 Union Shop. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough multipoint inspections
• Complete maintenance and repair work as specified on orders, following dealership and General Motors standards
• Perform lube, oil, and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs
• Conduct tire rotations, repairs, mounting, and balancing
• Explain recommendations in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques through training sessions to advance your career and stay updated with rapidly changing technology
• Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform various tasks

Job Requirements:

• Basic knowledge of automobiles
• Valid driver’s license
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with automatic transmissions is preferred
• ASE certifications are not required but are a plus
• Maintain current factory training
• Team-oriented, flexible, and committed to high customer service standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods
