Job summary

Suburban Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice & Apprenticeship Manager to own the end-to-end development of the electrical apprenticeship program. You will administer wage progression, maintain records, and ensure ABC standards while partnering with HR, field leadership, and Talent Acquisition.

In this leadership role you will mentor apprentices, manage performance reviews, and coordinate job placements across divisions, contributing to a safe, skilled, and promotable workforce for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and prior mentoring or supervising apprentices.
• Ability to build trust and hold people accountable.
• Strong interpersonal, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally with field and HR leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the apprenticeship program and wage progression.
• Maintain apprentice records and compliance with ABC standards.
• Partner with HR to set wage ranges and advancement criteria.
• Mentor apprentices and conduct regular check-ins and evaluations.
• Develop and manage apprentices' development plans.
• Collaborate with project managers for placement and rotations.
• Conduct site visits to coach apprentices and gather feedback.
