Job summary

Archer Mechanical in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a full-time Apprentice Plumber to join our growing team. You will install plumbing and mechanical systems across diverse projects, following codes and project documents, with hands-on learning from seasoned professionals.

If you hold a valid apprentice license (1A-4B) and are eager to develop your trade, we offer tuition reimbursement and a progressive path from apprentice to journeyman as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of 1A – 4B in apprentice plumbing training.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Install plumbing and mechanical systems according to code and project documents.
• Perform pipefitting and welding tasks as required.
• Plan material lists and tool requests one week in advance.
• Offer suggestions for productive and efficient installation approaches and options.
• Learn, apply, and maintain piping and fittings to meet project goals and requirements.
• Ensure installations comply with codes and project documents.
