Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn the plumbing trade.
• Able to safely use hand and power tools.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
• Able to work in residential, commercial settings, crawl spaces, and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems for residential and commercial projects.
• Measure, cut, thread, join, and assemble pipes under supervision.
• Support troubleshooting and repair of leaks and other issues; perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and job specs to ensure accurate installations.
• Help install and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, boilers, and disposals.
• Prepare and organize tools, materials, and job sites; maintain safety and cleanliness.
• Follow safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and local plumbing codes.
• Provide professional, courteous service when interacting with customers; work with the team to meet deadlines.
• Participate in apprenticeship training and skill development toward journeyman licensure.
