Job summary

Yellowstone Local in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join our team for real installations, repairs, and service calls. You’ll work closely with licensed plumbers to build hands-on skills and advance in the trade.

You’ll gain experience with water supply and drain systems, learn piping, fixtures, and tools, and contribute to safe, high-quality work on residential and commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of plumbing experience.
• Texas Plumber's Apprentice registration preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Working knowledge of basic plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, tools, and materials.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively with other plumbing professionals.
• Reliable and professional approach to assigned work.
• Ability to perform essential job duties such as lifting, climbing, bending, and working in confined spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with plumbing projects and service calls throughout San Antonio, TX.
• Support licensed plumbers with installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work with water supply lines, drain lines, faucets, toilets, fixtures, piping, and other plumbing components.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping and related materials.
• Assist in diagnosing plumbing problems and completing necessary repairs.
• Safely use plumbing tools, hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment.
• Prepare, organize, load, and maintain tools and materials for each job.
• Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety standards, and company procedures.
• Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
