Job summary

The Westlake Group, comprising Benjamin Franklin Plumbing and Westlake Plumbing, seeks full-time Plumber Apprentices for residential and light commercial work in central Arkansas. The program includes a four-year apprenticeship with weekly evening classes and on-the-job training under licensed senior plumbers.

Ideal candidates have a willingness to learn, pass background and drug checks, and are able to lift 50 lbs. Benefits include uniforms, paid holidays, and health insurance options.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years plumbing or other trade experience is preferred but not required.
• Desire to learn, ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Problem solving skills and good communication are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with residential repairs and installations.
• Assist new construction crew on new home plumbing installation in all phases of construction.
• Participate in all company-sponsored training classes.
• Maintain a professional image by wearing company-approved apparel.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Abide by standards of performance and code of ethics.
• Maintain courtesy with customers and associates.
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized.
