Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• OSHA 10-hour certificate would be helpful.
• First aid certificate would be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the assembly, installation and repair of pipes and fittings and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems, according to specifications and plumbing codes
• Test pipes and fixtures using water and air to detect and locate leaks.
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required angles, using hand and power tools.
• Hang steel supports from ceiling joints to hold pipes in place.
• Install underground storm, sanitary, and water piping systems.
