Drain Works LLC is a plumbing company in Wheeling, WV looking to hire a full-time apprentice plumber. If you are tired of working under bosses you dislike, in a company structure that does not value you, and feeling like you cannot ask for a raise, we might be the employment you are looking for. No previous plumbing experience is required, as we are looking to hire a stellar candidate first and foremost.
Our company is a brother trio ran, and we are tired of companies that waste your time and don't value the effort you put in. Plain and simple, a raise is always on the table at Drain Works, as we want to recognize the hard work you put into working with our customers and learning the trade. We can offer you management you will want to respect and joke around with, and a company focused on moving you through the Journeyman and Master plumbing track if desired.
This position is to assist our Master plumber through various plumbing jobs. You will gain expertise in all areas as you encounter different scenarios, but the jobs will be focused over time towards drain and sewer line specifics. You should feel comfortable being on your feet all day and assisting in lifting heavy objects. Transportation between jobs will be in a company van, but transit to Wheeling every day will be required. The position can be up to 40 hours a week, generally from 9-5, but we are willing to listen and understand circumstances or simply desires of when you do and don't want to work. Also, take into account there may not be a full schedule of jobs, but it will most likely be at or slightly under 40 hours a week.
Pay rate is based upon previous plumbing experience/ability. Even with no experience, Drain Works believes in fairly compensating you as your skills and ability increase over time.
