Job summary

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is hiring an Apprentice Automotive Parts Advisor / Parts Counter Person. This entry-level role includes paid hands-on training in a busy dealership parts department, with clear paths to grow into a Parts Advisor or Parts Manager.

No prior experience is required—learn from experienced professionals while assisting technicians and customers, managing inventory, and delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Computer skills and attention to detail.
• Automotive parts or warehouse experience is helpful, but not required.
• Flexible schedule, including some evenings and Saturdays.
• Valid Driver's License with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Learn to order, receive, stock, and bill automotive parts.
• Assist technicians and retail customers with parts requests.
• Help manage inventory and organize stock.
• Answer phones and provide outstanding customer service.
• Assist with parts deliveries and pickups.
