Xcel Energy Distribution Department seeks an Apprentice (1st Year–4th Year) or Journeyman Lineman for its Borger Service Center. You’ll learn a rewarding career building and maintaining high-voltage distribution and transmission lines, under an accredited DOT safety program.

The role covers construction, maintenance, and operations, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. The position pays hourly with benefits including medical and retirement plans, and requires near Borger, TX.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A or ability to obtain within 120 days of start date.
• EEI CAST Assessment must be completed successfully.
• Safety, quality work and customer service are essential.
• Willingness for after-hours and weekend callouts.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and operate distribution and transmission lines.
• Support maintenance and emergency repairs of lines as needed.
