The successful candidate will have an associate degree in utility line construction and a minimum of two years of on-the-job training. Twin Valleys Public Power District, with headquarters in Cambridge and an outpost in Alma, has an immediate opening for a second year Apprentice or Journeyman Lineman located in Alma, Nebraska.
Twin Valleys Public Power District serves more than 6,700 meters over 2,510 miles of transmission and distribution lines within nearly a 2,000 square mile region in southwest Nebraska with twenty-four full time employees. Alma is located on the banks of Harlan County Lake in eastern Harlan County and offers excellent hunting, fishing, boating and other outdoor opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years on the job training as an apprentice lineman and an associate degree in utility line construction. A self-starter with the ability to work independently and communicate well with other crew memebers is necessary for this position.
