Job summary

ProMedica Health and Wellness Center is seeking an Apprentice Optician in the Ophthalmology department to sell eyewear, contact lenses and accessories to optical customers. You will select products, dispense and drive sales while fostering a team-oriented approach to practice operations.

A high school diploma is required and you must obtain the Ohio Spectacle Dispensing Optician License within 12 months of hire. Prior optical office experience is preferred; Apprentice Optician license is a plus.

As the Apprentice, Optician, you sell eyewear, contact lenses and accessories to optical department customers. You will select products, dispense and drive sales while facilitating a team effort and creating a team-like attitude and approach to practice operations. • Must obtain Ohio Spectacle Dispensing Optician License within 12 months of hire.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Prior medical/optical office experience
• Apprentice Optician license
