Job summary

Anchor Glass Container LLC in Oklahoma seeks an Apprentice Mold Maker to join our skilled manufacturing team. You will undergo a 4-year apprenticeship and operate various machinery, building foundational skills in lathes, mills, and drill presses.

You will follow Good Manufacturing Practices, maintain a clean workspace, and meet daily productivity requirements while developing precision through pneumatic tools and grinding/polishing techniques.

Qualifications

• Completed basic machinist class with transcript or 5 years machining experience.
• 6+ months of manufacturing experience.
• In good standing with attendance and employment history.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Selected candidate must pass Bennett Mechanical Comprehension and Dopplet Numerical Testing.

Responsibilities

• Must successfully complete a 4-year apprenticeship.
• Operate various types of machinery (lathes, mills and drill presses).
• Use pneumatic tools for grinding and polishing.
• Maintain housekeeping within your area as well as the entire department.
• Work 40+ hours per week.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety Standards.
