Apprentice Mold Maker

Anchor Glass Container LLC, headquartered in Tampa, Florida, is a leading North American manufacturer of premium glass containers. We operate five strategically located facilities throughout the United States, including a plant in Henryetta, Oklahoma.

Job Summary

We are seeking an Apprentice Mold Maker to join our Henryetta team. The role requires a commitment to learn and master mold fabrication for glass container production. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete a 4‑year apprenticeship program.
• Operate machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and drill presses.
• Use pneumatic tools for grinding and polishing work pieces.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards within your area and the department.
• Work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety requirements.
• Meet daily productivity targets.

Requirements

• Completed a basic machinist class (with transcript) or possess at least 5 years of machining experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Excellent attendance and employment history.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Successful completion of Bennett Mechanical Comprehension and Dopplet Numerical Testing.
