Accumar Marine seeks a motivated entry-level marine service assistant to support experienced technicians and learn mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, rigging, and vessel-system fundamentals in the field.
You will assist during mobile service calls, complete tasks under supervision, maintain tools and records, and participate in company-paid training to progress toward independent diagnostic capability.

Qualifications:
Experience requirements: No prior marine experience is required. Transferable trade, technical-school, military, automotive, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or diesel experience is beneficial.
Education requirements: No specific degree is required. Relevant technical training and demonstrated ability are evaluated for the role.
Working hours: Full-time, year-round work. Service operations normally run Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with individual schedules coordinated around customer vessel appointments.
Compensation: This is a W-2, premium daily-rate position. The actual rate is discussed on the first call and is based on verified experience, certifications, demonstrated diagnostic ability, and technical skill.
Mechanical aptitude, reliability, willingness to learn, and genuine interest in marine systems. No prior marine experience is required; automotive, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, diesel, or industrial experience is helpful. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for mobile service across Southwest Florida. Ability to work safely aboard customer vessels, including confined machinery spaces when the assignment requires it. Professional communication, accurate job notes, and respect for customer vessels and marina rules.
